When we think about why health is important, often what it really comes down to is being able to be active and do the things in life that we enjoy, especially as we age. Performing activities like gardening, carrying groceries into the house, playing catch with your children or grandchildren, getting up by ourselves if we fall down, and others, are key to enjoying our lives.
